Andyb0127
Looking good nice to see another clean pepper red escort. Ive got the same colour escort finesse which is standard, but now showing a few signs of its age, had to replace the tailgate on mine took ages to find a rust free mint condition. Markc
They just needed repainting in satin black, its all ford does in the first place Normal prep work and some halfords satin black, will outlast any NOS arms. The car is needing work now, all i can do when i get the time, but its the little things that make the biggest difference

Markc
Got any better shots of how the flaps attach to the car? They are just the normal arch clamps that come with the standard mud flaps. They just needed repainting in satin black, its all ford does in the first place Normal prep work and some halfords satin black, will outlast any NOS arms. I'm hoping a job that can be done in a day? did you laquer? Sorry only just seen this, no lacquer on these but you can use a mat lacquer over them I've also done the door lock caps and soon to do the rear door plastic triangular covers as well when I get the time. tomsy
Really liking what you've done with the handbreak, what model focus was it off and do you have to change the complete handbreak or just the button, i've got some chrome door handles to go on mine and that chrome button just completes the job. Chrome door handles, the escort Ghia chrome gear knob ring and the focus Ghia handbrake all work well together Need the whole handbrake lever. Pee easy to change, lift the handbrake cover and remove, chock the wheels, slacken the handbrake cable and undo the 2 bolts holding the lever to the floor, lift to remove. Fitting is the reverse and check/adjust the handbrake is good to hold the car on 3 clicks (MOT standard).
