djraks Posted August 1, 2003 Share Posted August 1, 2003 I have a wrc spoiler on my mk 6 escort (pics soon) and I delocked and flushed out the tailgate.I never realised how heavy the spoiler was and now my boot doesn't pop open wen I push the boot opener switch and its becomes a 2 man job with 1 man pushing the switch and the other lifting the boot! What do i need to do? Where can i find boot lifters strong enuf for the weight of my spoiler and will my boot then pop open if I have that done so i don't need someone else to help me open it?
