Hi folks

 

I am pretty sure that I have read somewhere that you can change either the whole stearing wheel or just the airbag to one with a blue Ford oval in the middle. Am I right in saying they came in Fiesta's? If so, which ones?

But surely the mk5 fitment is different to mk6.

Are you 100% sure of this because if not it could be rather dangerous.

Unless your talking about fiesta in which case I havnt a clue.

Is this one the right one? It looks the same shape and size as my Gti one.

Fiesta MK5 airbag = Escort Mk6 + shiny badge (and sliiiiightly diferent colour)

I've got a MK5 one fitted to my MK6 RS2000 sterring wheel. I believe it might fit the GTI wheel too. If you look at a lot of MK5 Fiestas, the steering wheel is actually the same design as the RS2000, just not leather

It does, I got it. Or you can get leather one from a Puma. At least some of them... Or Zetec-S - the two-tone one - not a fan

My appologies, I thought you were recomending mk5 escort lol. I get it now and didnt know this about the fiesta wheels either.

I have a MK5 Fiesta Zetec airbag on my MK6 GTi steering wheel...fits perfect. The Fiesta airbag is also the same as the Puma BTW
