mclovin9091
After a recent visit to Argos i noticed that they were recalling the 1.5t trolley jack set as there is a problem with the axle stands. If you have a set see the link for more info. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/StaticDispla...lls.htm#JackKit (Should be working) Edited January 9, 2011 by mclovin9091

caled
Christ, that's a pretty epic failure for the manufacturers, there. But then, there's a reason why we should all put axle stands, jacks and any spare tyres under the car whilst we're underneath. Least I do... smithyandco
I've got the same ones from Wickes... (cheap ones made by Draper and rebadged for the reseller) Seem fine... used them well for around 2 years now! Although I always have the trolley jack sat under the area I'm working on incase a stand fails... just habit.
eetaylog
Always makes you wonder whether theres a squashed person somewhere to warrant the recall.
