As for the ££££ spent. It really isnt hard to spend over a grand if you dont think before buying, he probably got ripped 3-500 for just the wheels. Then there is the exhaust, lights (£130) Bonnet "vent" (£70 to buy and well in excess of £100 to fit and paint) And then the stereo (Could have a headunit thats worth just over a hundred or one thats worth 4x more than that, and then speakers if he's changed them. That was several sets of wheels, suspension kits at varying heights, different installs with different speakers, subs and amps, so at no time did it have £7k of modifications on it, but over time... marshy Posted January 25, 2011 Share Posted January 25, 2011 most ive ever spent on one car..(that includes purchase and repairs,mot etc) was my mk6 1.4.. had approx £800-£1k.. and its never worth what you put into a car.. but its better than spending it on beer/drugs constantly..as for that.. thats nothing compared to some of the cars i see around my area driven by our ethnic friends but as shaw said.. its easily done.
