scottg17
Took some pics on the way, decided i wanted to tackle one of the hardest roads in Scotland Bealach na ba, (the pass of the cattle)Goes to 2053 feet from sea level and boasts the greatest ascent of any road climb in the UK, was good fun but my brakes were roasty toasty afterwards lol http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x179/scottg17/DSC00540.jpghttp://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x179/scottg17/DSC00539.jpghttp://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x179/scottg17/DSC00541.jpghttp://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x179/scottg17/DSC00542.jpghttp://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x179/scottg17/DSC00543.jpghttp://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x179/scottg17/DSC00544.jpghttp://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x179/scottg17/DSC00545.jpghttp://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x179/scottg17/DSC00546.jpghttp://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x179/scottg17/DSC00547.jpghttp://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x179/scottg17/DSC00548.jpg

The road itself is only about 10-15 miles from end to end but its still worth it

DaweV6
Here's an idea for a road trip including the Pass of the Cattle as well. Or if you can't afford the fuel or don't have the time like me, just try and find something local-ish right HERE. Road trip - the best form of holiday known to man. Well, there might be a reason for that. Or maybe a couple. Or maybe like the fact that about 45 million people live below Watford Gap services on the M1. And therefore you tend to move at about 5 mph around M25 and not blasting around a mountaintop. Location location location. Location location location. There's plenty oop north - I spent the afternoon driving around the cat and fiddle and down to congleton. Dry, sunny day, great day for a drive. My favourite bit by far is driving through the one way systems in little market towns because I get to hear the exhaust hehe.

scottg17
I want to play........... now Looks like a challenging stretch In bits you don't realise how steep it actually is until you need to stop in a passing place going down hill and find you struggle to sit back in your seat lol
