Fogulrs Posted December 4, 2011 Author Share Posted December 4, 2011 2l ecu was used because theres a 2l maf on it aswell totally forgot about that! also has sierra cosworth 4*4 front brake upgrade:D planning on getting couple bits of rust repaired escos front bib and lower rear spoiler will be going zetec turbo in a year or 2 aswell so no point in putting a 2l in just now! I have been toying with getting some 8000ks so maybe, I need some new lenses first for my Morettes, just posted in my thread about it all, whilst I had my Morettes apart I notcied one was ruuusty. So car also has Newman stage 2 cams! Car has also developed a rather annoying problem! When I am coming too a stop and dip my clutch too get neutral the car will bounce at 1k then drop back down then eventually cut out really annoying anyone got any ideas? Mine was doing that for a bit, cleaned the relevant idle control parts but still did it. Lucked out with an ECU reset in the end and let the car re-learn the idle if you will, alot of people say it shouldnt fix it but ive done it with two escorts now, and ive seen a couple on here recently get sorted with an ECU reset.
