hicksy Posted January 27, 2012 Share Posted January 27, 2012 Ive been driving since i was 17 (2006) Ive had a few cars, i started with a 1993 Citroen AX 1.1i, it cost £100 and only had 50k miles on the clock (i dont intend on owning another french car though) I learnt to drive in it. All the cars started out STD and i put my own touches to them, im not saying i would do the same things again though :L June 2006-January 2007http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/DSC00038.jpg Second was a 1995 1.4 Escort, was a bit underpowered if im honest. I fitted Electric front windows and got my plate for my 18th birthday January 2007-October 2007http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/DSC00218.jpg I was bored of the 1.4 and wanted something with a bit more power, that came in the form of a 2000 Escort 1.6. I fitted some RS2k wheel and a full Ghia X leather interior to it October 2007-May 2008 http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/DSC00377.jpg Then i wanted a bit more power again and fancied a GTi, so i went and found a 1998 Escort Gti. I had it just over a month then went in the back of somebody and wrote it off so i bought it back and made it into something better I spent a fair bit of money on this.May 2008-June 2009 http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/Gti/DSC00963-1.jpg Then i fancied a change again, i wanted an ST170 but insurance was still too high Mum and dad tested a 130 TDCi mondeo when they first came out and i always fancied one of them, so i went and got a 2003 Zetec S TDCi. It followed on from the escort and i did ALOT of things to this tooJune 2009-December 2010 http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w200/tomhicks1/Mondeo/DSC00515.jpg Then just before christmas in 2010 i was bored and looking at insurance quotes, i realised that the ST170 was now affordable so i had to have one! I searched for a bit then found my current car 2002 ST170.
