Naylor2006
interesting.... Escorts never had white digi dials as standard, I was lucky and swapped the dials on mine and was plug and play I guess you could argue that my escort digi pump was faulty however after pestering everyone it seems that the the fiesta pump was more widely used for this conversion. Squiz
No, I did but they are from an escort as the warning lights in the fiesta digi dials are in different places to those on an escort.I did have both to compare along with my standard black digi dials and opted for the white as they had same warning light patterns.Hope that makes sense to someone.Might be from a puma ? Squiz
Sorry, my tongue in cheek answer got lost in translation I guess.I replaced the digi dial faces with white ones BUT they are for an escort as the warning light bulbs are in different places in fiestas

Not sure at the moment and ninety miles from home till after the end of the month.I just remember when searching a set out with a white face the lights were different between fiesta and those on my 2K finesse dials. Naylor2006
I took my old escort digi finesse dials apart the other night, they are the black type. Right, the warnin lights they have are airbag, ABS and this loop that loop line light which I haven't a clue what that is, these are the only lights which actually have a filter/template thing for the light to pass through and the LED's are the only ones on the circuit board. http://www.dontcallmeshirley.eclipse.co.uk/phils/phils_pics/mynewcar/gauges/IMG_1486.PNG So the fiesta dials circuit board is the top one, the warning lights we are talking about are the 6 at the top which 3 sit either side of the big black plug. As you can see the fiesta has 5, 2 on one side 3 on the other, the escort however only has 2, 1 on either side. As far as the layout the two are identical, if the escort was to have more warning lights they wouldn't be in different places to the fiesta/puma dials. On a side note, those going from black digi dials to white can keep their mileage by stripping the above board out and simply putting it in a white digi dial shell, also this makes sure you don't get all the additional fiesta warning lights when you don't need them. I haven't mentioned battery, handbrake, oil, full beam etc cause they are always he same. Edited November 23, 2012 by Naylor2006
