Naylor2006
Ok Guys Just unpacked My new angel eye headlights for ny mk6 was wondering how easy they are to fit? is there mutch wireing to do, or is it direct replace plug and play? cheers guys Sometimes the angel halos have their wires loose, no idea why, you just wire them together and that's only on the lights themselves. Other than that yeh, the Autoart ones I had had identicle plugs. Remove bumper, can be tricking as the nuts can be a bit of a tw@ to get to, sorta either side of the number plate area up between stuff with little access, skin scraping stuff, 13mm nuts iirc, screws in the arch then you can get at all the headlight fixings. Remove and replace with the new units, they are not an identicle unit in shape as the stock lights so be sure to tweak and adjust to get them smooth with wing and bumper etc. That's it then plug them in, I managed it, anyone can. Then get the lights themselves level adjusted at an MOT station or something. The Autoart ones are a pretty good peice to be fair, I liked mine. tomsy
I'll second the ratchet spanner especially one with a flexi head on it with a bit of luck your bumper might have been off before and you've only got 2 nuts to undo.
Naylor2006
Get yourself a ratchet spanner A small one, mine was too big, I spent two hours on a virgin removal inching each nut off, my wrists but the end of it were destroyed and then it came to putting the bumper back on in the same night, more scraping. So yeh, get a small rachet.
