WAYNE1 Posted November 23, 2012 Share Posted November 23, 2012 (edited) n anybody tell me what the back cable is for on the picture,.... the front cable is for the accelorator, the back cable ( WHITE PLASTIC SLEVE ON IT) goes to a unit wich is under the whipers, bulk head. but it has snapped, and i dont have a clue what it is for,any help would be very greatfull.the car is a FORD MONDEO 2001 Yreg, MANUAL 1.8 LX. WAYNE1 Posted November 23, 2012 Author Share Posted November 23, 2012 This will be a great help for anyone browsing the forum looking for mechanical advice.I do wish people would conclude a topic allowing others to possibly learn from it. all i have done is connected the broken cable back together by useing a block connector wich you use for joining wires together, & believe it or not it has actually worked. its a quick fix . so if anybodys cables break use a block connector for a quick repair, atleast it will get you back home until can get it fixed properly. hope this helps. :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
