Trig
This years shortlist: Cyclists Bradley Wiggins and Sir Chris Hoy, tennis star Andy Murray, athletes Jessica Ennis and Mo Farahrower Katherine Grainger, golfer Rory McIlroy, boxer Nicola Adams sailor Ben AinslieParalympians Sarah Storey, Ellie Simmonds and David Weir Who do you think deserves this years award? Personally, I want Wiggo to win it. As a cyclist, I've followed Le Tour among other races for years and what he has achieved is nothing short of amazing. If not Wiggo, then David Weir. That man is a brilliant athlete.

JAMGTI
Wiggins for me, they have all had a fantastic year winning olympic gold (except mcilroy), but being the first brit to win the tour de france is to me an even bigger achievement top 3 for me; wigginsennismurray or weir

escortjas
They all deserve it really, Although i'm pretty sure Wiggins will get it.
sidrick
Probably Andy Murray. The olympians lose a bit of credit when there's 23758628756 of them in the 'shortlist'. If not Murray then Wiggins.

Filthy-escort
Got to be Mo Farah. A true gent. I ave had dealings with wiggins and he can be a right stroppy arrogant idiot at times.Didn't like the way he gave the cameras the finger when they filmed him coming out of hospital after e was knocked off is bike. The paps for once did as they were asked and patiently waited outside the hospital grounds along with well wishers to try and get an update on a national hero and he just stuck his finger up to them as e was driven away. smithyandco
Myself for beating the bed-to-toilet (about 15 metres) world record time after awaking with antibiotic diarrhoea. Never take KEFLEX... unless you enjoy pissing from ones anus...
