Quick question, more out of curiosity than anything, Why can i not find anything on mk6 escorts with a cosworth engine conversion ? Is it not possible? maybe engine to big ?

for what it'll cost to do you might aswell put a couple of grand to it and just buy a feckin cosworth engine with the "cosworth" escort still attached to it. :pancake:

Ah k thought that would be a big part of it BUT normally you will always find some crazy person that has dont "it" before, but no matter how much i have searched i could not find anything.

But i shall quite happily settle for far to costly :)

Anyone that is capable of doing it will have done it if they so wanted to. It's usually the people who are not capable of such a conversion that ask these kinds of questions. No offence intended, but it's the reality

Money.

:glare: :(

It's not just money though, depending on what you wanted to do, it's very time consuming.

Exactly, I mean you wouldnt want to FWD it, youd have to 4x4, all the bits are based on a shorter wheel base anyways so it would be a nightmare. Dunno if you could use the rs2000 4x4 bits and mount the engine too it, that would be pretty cool.

If you had the money you could have it done within weeks, not years.

And no, you wouldn't want to mount the RSK2 4X4 parts on to anything more powerful than a pushbike.
