hi bud you dont need washers at all lol

there shud a clip which holds the pipe to the body.

slid this out then undo the nut on the pipe and there you go all of

when you but the axle back on do the same way

JUST REMEMBER THIS WHAT EVA YOU TAKE OFF YOU PUT BACK ON

the rs2000 converstion is so easy to do.

just take your time.

if you have a mark6 use all new parts to fit a mk6 and same for mk5

its best to use ford hand brake cable as they last longer but copy part are ok.

its best to also replace both cables fron and back.

realy mate its so easy as long as you blead the brakes.

just ask if you want help,iv done all the converstions and this one is simple

thank you mate and i took my hubs off the rs beam can i just bolt them straight onto my beam on the car atm n just connect pipes and cables up n boom done lol thank you

The mk5 Escort rear stub axles have a different bolt pattern to the stub axles of a mk6 Escort, that's why its recommended to swap the entire rear beam for a mk5 beam, especially if ABS not fitted as standard to the mk6.

So, no, can't bolt a mk5 rear discs assembly to a mk6 rear beam.

The Focus rear stub axles/discs assembly will bolt onto a mk6 Escort beam and is recommended, especially if the mk6 has ABS.

this is correct.

it all depends on what converstion you want to do?

st170

rs2000 rear beam

you need to think ans ask your self these questions

how much you want to spend?

looks?

best braking?

safest option?

if you do not have abs then i would go for the rs2000 set up which you will need the whole beam ect.

i found that rs2000 brakes lock up alot on hard braking but i had my abs deactivated.

if you got abs and wunt to keep it then go for the st170 but getting the parts are alot of money.

the rs2000 if you can get a complete beam is the quickest and simple way of doing the converstion.

you can find hints and tips on google just search.

Mk6 holes bigger hence require washers..

It's just washers man LOL

It's a doddle of a conversion and if u can't do this then I wd quit working on your car ..

You'll b fine buddy..

the clip pushes into the braket ,which makes the hole smaller to hold the pipe to the body.
