GingeRS2K Posted November 23, 2013 Share Posted November 23, 2013 Having diesel ratio'd gearbox isn't always that good. I had that engine in my old aubergine one, killed gearbox on track day so found a cheap diesel MTX up the road from me. Fitted it, IIRC 2nd and 3rd gears I got more speed out of it (think 65 and 90 than 56/8 & 82/5 mph) but couldn't take it past 120 due to final drive ratio being high. However, I know that engine is a good un and shifts with RS box fitted. If can combine the 2 but don't see the point if keeping it budget. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
