hey everyone, im currently wanting to put a 2.0 zetec silvertop into my 1997 mk6 escort si 3dr.

 

just wanting to know does it bolt straight in ?

 

do i have to put the 1.8 waterpump into the 2.0 as the 2.0 spins a different way ?

 

is the 1.8 loom going to plug into everything on the 2.0 ?

 

can i use the standard 1.8 gearbox for the 2.0 ?

 

am i needing a 2.0 non PATS ecu instead of using 1.8 ecu ?

 

PLEASE tell me if im missing anything as i really want to do this conversion.

you will need a 1.8 oil pump and a external/non pats ecu also is the engine out of a auto?you will have to change every thing from the old 1.8 over to the 2.0 good luck

the oil pump can remain as the 2.0 one but maybe the oil filter may require a shorter one than the standard long one!
