Phill
My speedo is being well temperamental. Yesterday when I got in my car to come home from work, it didn't move for the whole journey, stayed stuck on 0.Did the same for the first half of this morning, then started working again. Then went again, then started working again. No pattern that I can notice...Any ideas?

Chris_1.8Si
It'll either be the cable or the bit that drives the cable (not sure if its called the mole drive on cars) I had a similar problem when i owned an Aprillia RS125, i went thru 3 speedo cables before the problem was actually found to be the mole drive!!! Phill
Arse. Is replacing it something that's DIY-able? Or will I have to pay The Man to do it? Cheers for your help, peeps.
Waxmonkey
speedo cable's doable - I did mine on my pug. It's awkward and very time consuming cos you have to take the dash out n stuff.
