Russ_Zetec
i saw the beast again when i was down at Lydden hill watching the rallycross last month and the chassis is one of the original evo 2 road going versions and it does run a very big turbo'ed RS500 touring car spec cosworth block although its an m plate so i reckon it might have been a recovered wreck?! T9BY G
Thats y i thought it was a replica because of the 94/95 M reg. No way it could be real as the real ones were B and C regs. Very fast tho!
Mike C
Tbone you cant say that thats a rep from them pics in that light something just looks totally wrong about the rear side pillar thing where the large blue oval is.
Foxy
With respect to cruises, I would be very surprised to see a genuine RS200 at Purley, although of course it's not beyond the bounds of possibility - some well-heeled folks in Surrey! There were only 200 ever made of which only 20 were uprated to the 'Evo.' When 'B' cars were banned from rallying, only 90 in total were converted to road trim and were prohibitively expensive. Russ_Zetec
its not the real car!!! why dont u listen??? the chassis is real evo 2 road spec but the kit is different......... rant over
Foxy
Was listening - honest!!Even to have an original Evo 2 Chassis is remarkable as of the original 200 rally cars made, only 130 remained (20 Evos)- 40 were dismantled for spare parts and 90 were converted to Evo road spec and sold.
