escort_16v
this is a setup photo, it was done by i think the Swiss fire brigade as a training programme, there is no way they would allow the public so close to a real crash scene and also notice there is a pair of pliers lying on he bumper, they used these to cut the fog and indicator wires. neil
And that weedy tree would not stand that force its pretty obvious that its not real. It has not even crumpled its been squashed.

Pelles
its definately fake/staged. firstly, for a car to criple and wrap its self around a tree would require a great deal of force.....the same amount of force to cause such an effect would level that tree the cars around. Theres no blood on the seats, although this is a probable, it would still be a major point to look for. The steering wheel gives it away, a lovely fresh steering wheel, anyone whos been in a crash will know that theres super human strength involved that always bends/buckles the steering wheel in away. My mates crash where i posted pictures of in one of the escort safety threads, the force in his arms from tension upon impact, completely re-shaped his wheel..... Theres no relevant markings on the ground around the crash area..... The POI would have been the drivers side, theres no visible damage on the N/S front wing that would concur with a force to crumple the car.... Plus theres the public Edited April 1, 2004 by Pelles
Scotteh
damn thats harsh, worst part is, theres loads of room either side of the tree, poor bast was unlucky enuf to hit it, must of been a fair speed as well
