RobMk6 Posted May 17, 2004 Share Posted May 17, 2004 looking to swap/Sell: my car with a blown engine (totally beyond repair), engine can and probably will be removed but wiring loom and everything else will be in place, (cable tied up)bodywork in sound condition, new bonnet, no front bumper but for an extra £150 on top of the swap can be supplied with an unpainted "Aggressor" front bumper, all lights will still be in place, the only thing missing will be the enginethe car is/has: Escort Caberet, Electric Windows,Electric Boot Opening,Central Locking,Tilt & Slide Sunroof,5 Door,Rear Spoiler, Si Interior,GTi Suspension,White Dials,Raven Style Interior,Colour Coded Handles,All Provisions/Wiring for Fog Lamps,Sound Underneath/Floorpan - No Problems, For a: 3 Door shell of same nature,with/without engine,Body work must be sound with exeptions,White dials etc.... I don't know the exact book value of your car, but I know that you've have front damage before (nothing too major I know) and that aint going to help. The hassel of sourcing and changing the engine far outweights what you could sell it for afterwards. Your best bit is to pull off everything you can sell and scrap the car.
