Alscort
Is it possible to get a turbo Kit and an intercooler for my Mk5b 1.6 16v zetec.
Kirsty
wouldnt bother tbh. if you wanna turbo a zetec then surely a 1.8/2.0 would be the best as the power gains from a 1.6 will be far inferior than a 1.

ScORTED
pointless although you could you a ford RSturbo inlet with ya efi if its an efi casting on manifold one... but its totally pointlees due tho the head of the 1.6 having crap flow as its for economy, for the cost you could drop a 1.8 or 2.0 in or if your desperate for a turbo an RST engine can be had cheaply and its not a complicated conversion as you don't need any one off custom parts all off the shelf ford bits

ScORTED
noo don't encourage him... seriously though best doing it on a 1,8 or 2,0 zetec... not just cos they're better but because the 1.8/2.0 are of a better design and the 1,6 is no good for tuning, i did lots of research and even to get a solid 105 hp would be much more than dropping in a 105 spec zetec
