you'd have got a solid £2200 for it ;) and remember what i was offering ya on top ;) , that comes to £4800 :P , and you'd have kept the Puma seats :O , well over 5k there........try and get that :D

actually I pulled out first, from 3 buyers, went back to em, 1 was a timewaster, other 2 (who both offered £2200 cash instantly) had bought other cars. :P

I would if i knew before hand how much i would be pumping into it i cant comit at the min with my current situation not knowing how much its gonna tax me

 

If i could do it in bits would be a easier way like buy 2.0l get it chipped then buy that addons after buit by bit but i dont know what the fcuk i need :(

just buy the 2.0 and buy the bits one by one, dont put it in, have it chipped etc as thats just money wasted :)

 

I'd love to see it turbo'd on black Comp's, it would be the best mk6 ever built, bar none :cheers:

Right list i have compiled so far

 

 

turbo (What type do i need)

manifold (what sort of manifold a 4-2-1 one)

management (self explanatry but whats best to get and where from)

manifold adapter ( I persume this is the plate that goes between the manifold and engine block)

4 more injectors ( Pass i havent a clue on this :roll: )

 

Just though will need a intercooler aswell ( that Pro Alloy place thats normally at shows are they best ?? and what type do i need)

 

 

Anything else i need i am sure there is ?(

if u dont want any more then 250bhp i'd stick with a stage 3 hybrid T3 from Burton power,

 

RST manifold

 

Fiesta RST OFAB would be adequate

 

a set of dark green cossie injectors would be more then adequate. depending on fuelling requirements, a set of Yellow injectors would suffice. might possibly need to upgrade the fuel pump too. not sure on the ltr/min capability of a standard Zetec FP

 

pro alloy gen2. intercooler would be perfect, you almost definatly would need modifications to get the cooler piped up correctly but thats not a real big problem for some1 who can weld ally :thumb:

Aye, had a chuckle at those prices too! They're not gonna advertise the full "drive in-drive out" price in Fast Ford, that'd just scare everyone.

 

What does it actually include?? I guess just top and bottom ends??

 

Dave, rather than making a list yourself, work out a budget for yourself, then email Giles (and other companies if you wish) and ask them what they could do for ya at that price. :cheers: :cheers:

ian howell doesnt do any installation or mapping. he just builds the engines and i believe its Harvey Gibbs or Ahmed Bayjoo who does the mapping and installation.

 

thats what he told me when i was thinking about going the full zetec route with mine, shortly after i bought it

It'd work :cheers: Although you take a risk buying parts second hand (and not refurbing them)...... look at Lee's engine FFS :O

 

Then again, you could just buy a new car.

 

Any kind of tuning whereby you double your current bhp, you must be looking at £3.5k+ imo :)
