geordie_aaron Posted June 17, 2005 Share Posted June 17, 2005 I've cracked a 2nd EGR system leading from the manifold lol makes HORRIBLE ticking noise when i pull off and just cruise lol, its affectin my MPG marginally and DEFO performance (can't see why though) i'm going to remove it tomorrow before cleaning the engine bay and weld the manifold up.......my question to you lot is 'HOW?' 1. Weld a plate/2p coin over and seal lol2. weld in circles form the edges-in3. fill te whole with weld... lol and before anybody says theres no point...the reason of the EGR is to warm the cat up quicker.....well its warming something up thats not there! lol and i get stevie wonder MOT's..... help please lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
