bluliz
Wehn a BMW detects a possible fault on a sensor, the whole car shuts down. i mean everything stops working. it does it so that if there is a problem loads of damage isn't caused. that is why when ever a bmw breaks down it have to be lorried away,. A loose connector on the battery would 'shut down' any car. Your statement is simply untrue.

Mike C
Fortunatly this one just needed its nuts tightening wish that happened to all BMW drivers and of course it doesn't shut down completely when a fault sensor comes on, otherwise warning lights would be rendered useless, but certain sensors would, depending on the fault now please do the world a favour and park the car on a very steep hill and leave the handbrake off

Jackster
Now now stop with the bickering, i dont want to get involved with this BM is better than Ford and Fords are better than BM, at the end of the day it doesnt matter what cars people drive, there are more important things to life than defending cars and their makers surely. Im driving the BM purely because mine is undriveable at present. It isnt my car so you can comment how crap it is to your hearts content. Come to think of it you can comment on how crap my escort is, lol.
