AndyCanning Posted September 27, 2005 Share Posted September 27, 2005 hi just a little puzzled, i got a rear/front heated screen switch for my car and it plugs in as the wiring loom is there but the light on the front heated screen doesnt turn on why? possible a fuse? i have put a fuse in every place other than two where there doesnt seem to be a fuseholder. also what fuse number is the horn? is it 17? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bluliz Posted September 27, 2005 Share Posted September 27, 2005 (edited) there will be a fuse and relay for the system. fuse for the whole system and the relay for the timer, just like the rear heated window. i cant seem to find it in the haynes manual for 1998 onwards models. can u tell me the ampages of fuses 1-5 in ur fuse box? bluliz Posted September 27, 2005 Share Posted September 27, 2005 you should have the same fuse box as i have, i would have thought there would be a relay for the timer, just like the rear windows. get the screen fitted and see what happens. if nothing, then take a look in a 1998 spec Ghia or Ghia X, see if there is a fuse in 13. as this is the only fuse not marked in haynes spare relays are 10,12,18, 20 and 21 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
