I'm happy to break it, the only problem being I don't know how to take a car apart or put it back together! It's not in the best shape but I'm sure someone could buy it v.v cheap (parkers guide says 500 private poor, I don't want ANYWHERE NEAR that)..... and then fix it for a run around... The engine is good, I don't really thrash it, never even seen the rev limiter! I have gone and bought myself a Citroen ZX Volcane TD, which I love already, I would be happy to sell the escort for the price of a tune on the new car (£150)... I think it may just be the clutch cable that has gone? the pedal doesn't seem a 'springy' as it should do? but there is no grinding sound now..... there was a pink/klunk when it happend so I'm guessing *from what I have been told* that it could be that.... Has two holes in the parcel shelf where I had speakers in, I took em out for my new car, but the new car already has decent speakers so I guess they can be included and refitted by anyone who might be interested.... Ford breaker down the road is offering like £150 plus a bit of work on the drivers seat in my new car (extending the rails, I'm 6'4).. So if anyone rekons its worth £200-250 its yours... I know tiz unlikely but it seems such a shame to have it broken up or for them to make a profit out of it! (they are always selling cars out the front)...
