foxdie
C'mon, i cant believe not person is interested in this car at £2500, i'll even consider offers and im also interested in Part ex for your escort. Just think, swap your car standard car with around 70k miles and get this car for arround £1500 (depending on the value of yours) Cant believe theres no-one interested 200hp for around £2.5k... I use this car, everyday for work, back and forth to leeds and to the girlfriends, almost 300miles a week and its NEVER let me down.

Chappers
p reg TD, pretty quick, 116k no service history, just had oil change and belts, seems pretty solid, the wheels can go if you like, what's involved in the VOSA kit car malarky? would the insurance be crazy if it was all done properly, i don't think my dad would let me drive round with it regg'd as a 1.8 i don't know whether i can afford it or whether i even want it, i just don't want to see it broken up Edited January 11, 2006 by Chappers
foxdie
If you went through someone liek HIC i doubt it'll cost much more than a standard RS2000, Could alsways tell em the engine from a ford galaxy, which has the same engine as the rs2000, but a lot lower insurance group The whole VOSA thing im not sure about, i think it only applies to cars that are after its first MOT with a new car. But this sailed through it MOT with only minor problems like having a bulb out and the handbrake not adjusted. It not due to be enforced til 2007, and i still dont think it applies to cars that have already had a engine swap, and even if it does, im not sure it applies becuase the escort uses this engine in another trim, so your not technically doing a transplant, just a swap like for like... technically. RickH
Did an online quote for a standard RS2000 and it was well over £1500, insuring it would be way more than i could afford unfortunately

But it hard, i bet if 99% of you took it out for a brief hoon you'll fall in love with it like me. The engine is an absolutely imense experience.
