I've got to sell these cars yet, and if my cars not selling at around £2500, whats the chance yours is going to sell at £2000.

sidrick
The way i see it is: You keep it, wait until the summer, until shows etc where you can take it along with a nice big for sale sign. I'm sure you'd get decent money then. Strip it yourself. You'd make a lot of people on here happy because they'd get some goodies But you'll make nowhere near as much as you would selling it to JDM to strip(imo). Sell it to JDM, you know that the parts wont go to waste, and chances are he'll still make lots of EVOers happy by selling parts from it here. RE: shauns comments about EVO not being the place to sell it. I agree with that, but not with the reasons. EVOs average user is either: Young, on their first or second Escort, interested in looks but at an affordable price. It's an Estate, and it'd be a nightmare to insure if it was done legit. For most of the younger ones anyway. Older EVO users. They've had an escort, they've done the whole budget modifying and now want something fast, stylish and mature as they're next car. Not a pinking escort with a hooring exhaust note and howling TBs. Just so you know, I like the car, I admire how well it's been put together and the effort that's went in, so good luck with the sale and I hope you're not offended by my comments. Also, sorry to everyone if you feel you've been unfairly categorised. Scott.

I bet it's not top dollar. I say strip it yourself Paul, there's 2k minimum there in parts

I've calculated theres £2.2k there in parts (thats selling the engine @ £1k) but to weekends worth of work, and to be honest i value my weekends quite highly. Im under talks with Someone on EVO at the moment with his px. Hopefully everything will go through and we'll both be happy.
