neil
looking good mike. The blending between the arches and the rest of the car and skirts/bumpers looks spot on It will be strange seeing it in blue

steveo
looking good dude think the arche's would have looked a bit better if they where less flared on the inside where they come down to the skirts more like how the rear one goe's in to the rear bumper but still looks cool
foxdie
i think the red paint bits that wont be done will show through and Pee me off i bet. Also, if you've got a contact regarding a carbon bonnet, you could share with everyone else so they too can get one, maybe even do a group buy to lower the cost for yourself if a new mould must be made. also, is it me. or someone doing it in ther garage. my shop has white rooms with built in ovens etc. so im suprised you going for quite an amature unit. also (last time i promise) it may be clever to appraoch a body kit manufacturer to see if they can use you panels as a master for moulding others for people all over the world. Persoanlly i think doing that would be better than any feature, they would call it the the Flared MIkeC
Mike C
As said before, 'tis a temporary unit 'cos the newly-built unit they were meant to be moving to at the end of last year put a block on it 'cos of regulations on spraying cars etc as for the kit thing, well, I'd already thought of that in a roundabout way
AutomodellistaGT
so im suprised you going for quite an amature unit. lol looks different but looks like its done well from the pics. personally i havent got the patience for this sort of thing so good luck to you

Brown
Is anyone naive to the whole paint/general modifying process involved in a project like Mike's? I literally come into this thread and think to myself everytime.. "WTF, is it still not done?!" - damn MTV warping my brain. Still, I'm sure Xzibit could'a knocked this one out in 30 mins plus commercials.
RickH
Looks Fcuking amazing Mike, all you need is the right wheels to fill the arches, but im pretty sure you know that and that will be sorted too ! Looking great

danposs86
Mike sorry, got to disagree there. If i was spending that you are on a car, and you have stated you are turning it into a great show car, i'd want under the arches done, under the car done and, especially with the engine work you have planned, the engine bay sprayed up. If you were getting the interior stripped then i'd say in there too, but as you aren't then that isnt as important.

Twisted Tenderness
if hes having a cosworth engine transplanted in there, hes going to have to do some sort of paintwork as theres lots of fabrication work to be done so that will need paint!
