Kirsty Posted May 28, 2006 Share Posted May 28, 2006 made it home in one piece :D :D basically, met up, not a good show tbh as it was raining so most people didnt come, still had a fantastic time with the people that did lmao at the person in the fez who went head on to a kerb, thats what happens when u drive like a nob went down canvey strip i think??? had some fun in the cars, well i did and so did bex just been having an arguement with steve about my rattle he said it cant be that lol. have to say keiths car is the MOST RAPID car ive been in :jaw: my jaw actually did fall in my lap when he went congrats there keith, i think you have the bargain of the century kevs scooby is mmmmm police came down to see what was going on, but not much was said really apart from that we are better off down here as its all kicking off down basildon or summat down basildon strip was quite good, cept for the arsehole in the 200 lol, who kept trying to run over mark heard someone died on the a127 apparently, was posted no passionford so i had like 2 people check to make sure it werent me :roll: kinda makes you feel sick tbh anyway, thanks lisa for a wicked time shame it werent a good turn out (numbers wise) but i think you didnt need anymore people because the people that did go made the night Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Keiths car is in this pic honest Quality night, and cheers lisa for advise me to try and lean forward while keith accelerates to I could get a headrest sandwhich when he changes gear The tit in the Fez was fun, belting it round just missed the pillar, then hit the brakes locked em up and hit the curb and did a fair bit of damage too. ANT Posted May 28, 2006 Share Posted May 28, 2006 cheers Mike not an overly large turnout, but considering as i pulled into thurrock the heavens were fully open. i was surprised to see the 10 or so cars that came there, all outside their cars and mingling! thats dedication for ya! lol luckily i got out of my car and the rain seem to just... stop was good to meet everyone i've not met before and meet some of the other guys from various other sites. keiths car is a bit of an animal! jeez! watching it tear down the strip sounding like an aeroplane in every gear was just amazing! although the fact i gave Lisa a ride in my car and a second after i booted it she looked at me and said "its slow innit!" cheers lisa and keith for the organising, shame the weather wasn't on our side during the day otherwise i'm sure it would have been a bigger turnout. also the fact southend sea front was closed probably turned a few off. Bennys_Si Posted May 28, 2006 Share Posted May 28, 2006 Well as everyone has said it was a cracking night, started off bad with the weather, but those with dedication showed up, and as the night went on the weathr got better and better. The tit in the fez just made us all laugh when he skidded into the curb, what a T*at. yeah i found that a ford escort can infact beat a 320bhp scooby, plus the other guys in the scoobies down basildaon egging me on to do the strip again and again. lol but at least i know even though its four wheel drive its still easy to get side ways in the wet, ( well it went a little bit sideways) coming down into thurrock services but as said it was a fantastic night in the end of it, will def have to arrange another one soon.
