Chappers Posted August 30, 2006 Share Posted August 30, 2006 Yeah, i think i'd much prefer a supercharger because you still keep that AWESOME 6 cyl sound and don't add much weight so at least you'll still be able to go round corners as fast as you used to, even if you have to brake a lot earlier because you're hitting those corners at double the speed. Can't really see the point tbh, i don't really like the BMW V8s My God... you really need to hear a variety of engines mate V8 is one of the most fantastic, and makes a 6-cyl sound distinctly lacking!! I'd put money on it being aluminium block / head, so weight not really a factor. Oi... i didn't say ALL v8s, i said BMW V8s, they sound distinctly lazy if you know what i mean. Ferrari V8s or american V8s are a very VERY different matter. I just think the BMW 6cyl is awesome Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Theres no way you can call them "lazy" they've got a deep underlining burble almost overheard by the loudest ferrari type off-note scream. Its imense.
