Can't make my mind up...

I know this has come up recently but I need some advice. I've set my heart on a Leon Cupra R to replace my Escort however I'm not entirely sure what to do now as I quite like the Civic Type R and possibly the Golf Gti X( if you had the choice which one would you go for and why? Won't be brand new but anything between an 02-04 plate most likely  I not had any personal experiences in any of these cars but I know I fancy a change and these fit the bill so to speak :)

Seat everytime.

ive heard civics have a problem with losing grip in the wet on bends, i dont know first hand though.

the golf gti you mention, is it the mk4 one? if so I wouldny bother, they arent quick and the latest one is still a bit high priced for its performance.

the Seat is well balanced and had good grip, along with practicality and a relatively low price for the performance you get

personally i'd say go Honda, the interior is great, the gearstick is mounted in the dashboard, ultra reliable, bullet proof engines and the sound of a revving V-Tec will always put a smile on your face. but i dont know about the seat, i do really like the look of it tho X( X( X(

Bearing in mind that seat is part of the Vw group, the Gti's are pretty easy to tune specially the turbo models but they are a bit on the large side. I liked the mk4 gti and they can be made to go very quick.

Carnt really comment on the civic or the leon tbh

im in the same boat as u m8,

seat leon cupra, or a honda civic type r im after,

the civic type r is great, all round car, comfortable, and 200bhp standard,

cupra is around 225bhp, but ive yet got to sort a test drive in one,

but the civic is in the lead for me at the moment, :thumb:

the golf GTi turbos are great cars indeed,

Civic would be top of my list, i've owned one before.Great cars but by no means perfect.I was going to buy another but fancied something different and got the Alfa GTA, quite rare on the roads and people don't realise they are pretty quick!! Had a new RX8 up my arse on a dual in the week, until i floored it! lol. :P Gave him a shock!
