its a real shame your breaking it!

i read the last posts and i do agree with what those guys are saying but before all of us start modding we all know we will never get our money back for what we have splashed out but to be honest if you have a nice clean example like yours then you got some chance.

or from the other hand at least you know some little boy racer isnt gona rap it up after youve sold it.

Yeah man thats exactly what i think. :thumb:

pie - it looks decent and solid enough, why don't you send it in for an mot for £50 and see what it fails for, you never know it might fly through, whats the underside like? then at least you have a car with 12 months mot so have a good basis to start from. you could strip it back to standard and still get plenty of money for it, they are selling them about £1700 - £2000 around here with 10 months mot espesh in that condition, then sell parts of separately. or just stick a zt lump in it or and rs2000 lump can easily get 170 bhp from that cant you and its n/a so more reliably IMO. if you sell in how it is you could lose out big time if someone just puts an mot on with no problems. for £50 whats the harm, just my opinion matey i just hate seeing stunning projects go down the drain :thumb:

if it had a bit more power there would be no chance it would be going anywere , i love the looks of the car , the way it drives etc just wish it had around 200 bhp , i carnt justify thousands more pounds on a zetec turbo , as there will need to be sorted brakes / suspension on top of that .

why not go RST for a while? you're picking up lumps for £150 now, full rebuild and a little tinkering and your at 200bhp for £1500. maybe not ideal but will give the car at least a bit of the power it needs to make it complete :thumb:
