damien Posted February 22, 2003 Share Posted February 22, 2003 astra ya doughnut ! look again.. the reason i have those straps is cos my parcel shelf is too heavy for the supports ( stealth shelf, 6x9's, cd changer) so thse prevent it falling into the boot when going over a bumpy road.the wheels are the lightest 17's on the market i think. i didnt care. i just liked the look of em to be honest ! money well spent ! some blue anodised wheel nuts are next ! damien Posted February 23, 2003 Share Posted February 23, 2003 the "thing" above the boot is a shark fin. its got a blue LED that lights up when it senses movement and darkness. i originally wanted a shark fin airial from a 7 series beemer but it would have cost a silly amont to move the airial from the front to the back as it involves too much work, so this was the substitute. de-badging ? why bother ? it doesnt make it look like anything else if i took em off does it ?!
