Yeah i am claiming off him as he hit me!

I dont really need to get another quote from an insurance approved body shop as I trust the ones who are doing the quote for the repairs as they are prob the best around where i live.

They are normally quite good and do a good job they are always full wiv cars they are repairing lol and so they should i hear ppl say.

Well the car is in the repair shop with the engineer looking over it this afternoon, they reckon it looks worse than it is and can be fixed, gonna cost at max the guy said of £2000 to fix.

I drove it for the first time today and boy did it feel weird to drive after been given a focus last week and a new corsa this week. Yeah i know not the best of cars but its totally different to driving a 5 yr old escort.

So i have decided to sell it once its fixed and am still pondering on what to get next mite go for a focus dunno yet.

my accident was just over a week ago a week ago last friday, the repair shop rang me this morning to confirm to take it in and the engineer will look at it, when i got there the bloody engineer had gone and i was told he might be back this afternoon. I told him to get the engineer to call me if he goes to tell me what he thinks, but no phone call as of yet.

So is your going to be a write off then mate? what happened. if u look at my pics he hit me at an angle so the whole back end has shifted to the left at a slight angle they say its repairable on the jig so we will see.

I would like it written off and a nice settlement but i dont know if thats poss plus i reckon id be outta pocket that way so get it repaired and sell it i think!!!!

They are getting me a new exhaust as well as repairing some other scratches on one of the doors, shame i couldnt get them to get me a big bore one or summat but hey i am not complaining. Im gonna sell it when i get it back anyways, and decide what to buy next.

Mate i didnt get one thru his insurance if you go to these people www.helphire.co.uk they are the ones who are dealing wiv my claim, all i did way pay them £10 to cover an insurance policy for the hire of the car. (Ad to cancel legal procedings from insurance firm first) All the hire car charges get put straight onto the claim and they send the car out to you within an hour of reporting it to them providing it was not your fault!!!!

They are really good company i was put onto them by the local repair shop i used as i know em and they do a good job, apparently this firm are really big and they make there money from the hire of the car but deal with your claim from beginning to end.

I would recommend anyone to use em (so far so good) if the accident is not your fault, plus another bonus they specialise in people with TPTF insurance so all you lot out there who cannot afford FC insurance on ure motors and dont wanna be ripped off give em a try if an accident occurs and is not ure fault.

Let me know if you want more information!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
