I like the idea of starting from scratch, with a rolling shell, then addin as i go. I think it becomes a bit more personal that way. And alot of fun, blood, sweat and tears! I havn't sold the escort yet so maybe i'll change me mind Only reason for sellin is cos i've got a new job and its 120 mile round trip each day, hence the desiel, but if all goes to plan, i'll be able to afford another one come the summer and still have the diesel to run around in. m888arc Posted March 14, 2003 Share Posted March 14, 2003 1 of my mates who i go down the cruise with has a turbo'd fiesta..... i think he told me its got a 2.??ltr out of a mondeo and turbo'd it. and geeeze this car is very rapid, it woz leaving my car pretty easy after 60ish Marc. Colin Posted March 14, 2003 Share Posted March 14, 2003 Yea, but don't forget, that the car might have straight line speed, but the mondeo engine s a lot larger and heavier than even a RS1800 engine, and thus is gonna effect how the car handles in teh cornors etc, unless the suspension is well set-up...............
