Colin
Flour is Flour ain't it Ow dear....................... Its all to do with how it rises, and the texture that it produces the overal taste when baked and cooked, some can be more "airy" tasting, whilst some tastes more "dough like." Imagine comparing the different types of flower in a loaf of veda to a french stick....
Waxmonkey
I put self-raisin' flour on me nob, didn't work. Apparently there's many different types of flour, each doin' their own special job or something.

Its their cock up after all????
Colin
Never thought of that! Mind you, they get it for about 3 % of the price on the shelf, so it would cost a fortune in the long run............
