heres a picture of my first car, i realy enjoyed driving this and it pulled alot better than my new car (for now anyway). it all ended when i got t boned at a juction by some lunatic, any way it was a good piont for me to move on.

1.8 may not be great, but it's a million miles better than the 1.6

 

the 1.2 Corsa courtesy car I had last week is a load quicker than a 1.6 Escort

 

so is a recent-ish 1.2 Punto

 

so is just about everything

1.1 puntos are nippy, i had one as a first car too. Without the gay lights that punto would look quite cool.

that car was a 1.2 16v sporting model the engine was like a motorbike just loved to be revved due to the FIRE engine i guess, i had a massive 90bhp and yes it was faster than a 1600 escort by far.

i can see why the punto pulled more than the escort....women have no taste in cars?! my brother has a 1.4 seat ibiza in purple!!!! and women love it.....hes got a girlfriend...nobody looks at my escort.....

Always like MK1 Puntos for some reason. Liked the GT. Lose the nasty lights and that wouldn't have looked too bad to be honest. Escort is a big improvement though.

 

The 1.6 Escort ain't that bad, it will go if you drive it right. Drive a 1.3 and then see how you feel. No no, scrap that, drive a 2.3 N/A diesel Sierra, then you'll see what slow is

i loved that punto, the escort is now my dads work hack (getting run into the ground). now ive got the mx this is a far better car than the rest. and hoe old is this tread!?!
