anyway.. progress for today...

 

Put the new wheels off... Got the wheel arch man coming over next week to buldge out the arches as he done a good job of rolling the lip in.... still rubs ..and thats without the wheelspacers that are going on :P

Wheels really suit it :thumb: See you went with shaving the rear handles in the end too. Looks wicked keep it up! :cheers:

yeah started on the rear handles... got a strip of metalwelded in.. then fibreglassed .. then skimmed with filler :)

 

wheels have centre caps but they look better off :)

 

thinking of painting them white with a wedgewood blue lip

Yeh would look cool if you did... I keep looking at those wheels and thinking BTCC :rolleyes:

yep thats what i was going to do hence why the trim is off , just need some pointers... whats best... fibreglass then filler

Wouldnt use filler... it will end up sinking and looking awful... if you can track one down or borrow one a plastic welding kit would do the job perfectly... useful tool to have around aswell :rolleyes: Alternative build it up with fibreglass and skim it over with filler?
