First:

 

I bought my Escort :)...

Then I crashed her on the ballahutchin! DOH! I was over taking and a car pulled out on me.. but I noticed and allowed for that.

 

But what I never allowed for was him doing an emergancy stop whilst over taking! to let ducks cross. I was blamed as I should have seen him brake.

Fitted a new H & R Coilover (£250!! for 1) and then patched her up got her jigged and then drove he to walters to have a new 32K mile engine fitted:

Got engine in a drove her home after a weekend... Then got azzy to finish fitting the wing and paint it along with the door and bonnet:

I got a few friends to pull me out! 3 hours later, I drove home.

 

Then All went well for a while... I changed the H & R Coilovers to some Gmax as they were to stiff... Biggest mistake ever, gshite.

 

Then changed to rear beam to an RS2000 rear beam with discs, mainly for the discbrake conversion:

As you can see, I also fully Polybushed the rear beam.

 

Then I fitted some Zoo Performance Bottom arms, which Fcuking SNAPPED!!! You'd expect that at £375 for 2 x bottom arms they would last!

Both sides are above, yes thats right BOTH arms had snapped, only one side went completely.

 

Got the worest of it fixed.... and got a set of new arms through!:

NOW onto the WRC REP:

 

Bought her over, in a bad wee way. did some work for the MOT:

 

It was overheating a bit so decided to check the head gasket:

Ya thought the head gasket needed doing so did water pump too.

 

The car didn't handle to well, so thought I would replace the bottom arms:

There was a tiny bit fo rust on the strut arches, so cleaned em up:

The 325mm discs were too big, slowed the car down, the discs were fucked and I couldn't get any antirattle plates for the calipers so:

Didn't like it! so got a flocked dash, and also put angle eyed Morettes on the car meh, 2 days before I sold it.

 

The WRC Rep, had a stupid list of things I did for mot! I mean stupid!

 

A few things of my head:

4 x wheel bearings

New discs and pads

New head gasket and water pump

Sent Avo Coilovers away for a full recon

Treated mild rust at rear

Drop links

Track rod ends

Bottom Arms

 

God I had some fun lol.

 

I might get another Escort 3dr 1.8, do a 2.0L Conversion and kit it a bit like my first one... But I might not we will see :).
