Matt86
Looks good but wheels will desperately need changing now, can imagine a full car shot would show us something looking badly mismatched with those Xmas tree wheels.Bumper looks great though and the whole cars nice and shiny! I would have fitted black mesh though and darker fogs especially as you have dark headlights now
JC
Looking very nice, do have to say the mesh would look better back to match the upper grille or mesh the upper grille? what does that look like then mate?are you converting the projectors to HID? They are just the black angel eye headlights, same ones that Tez, Sammy and Mark have. Once they are in, I'm not fiddling with them! Good on you mate, plp that use those HID kits justify being shot IMO err why!? if done properly they provide a MUCH better light, last longer than H4s, better colour than just dull yellow and modernises the appearance of the car. sorry need to clarify my point, badly fitted / badly adjusted HID kits are evil, blinding, why they are MOT failures.... a common problem round here, people in the pursuit of brighter better lights, be it for a safety reason, are in fact putting other at risk... Richie_Si
Due to me only having limited internet access where I now live (on base) I have only managed to get pics of my car today after giving it a clean at home. Those of you at the July Watford meet will have seen them already, but I have just bought a set of 17" Kei Racing Force 10's. Hope you like: http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z151/Richie_Si/My%20Car/IMG_0917.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z151/Richie_Si/My%20Car/IMG_0918.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z151/Richie_Si/My%20Car/1907083.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z151/Richie_Si/My%20Car/1907084.jpg Before anyone says anything - yes, it is getting lowered (GMax 40mm lowering springs & dampers) but won't be until August when I go to Reading Festival. Hope you like! Edited July 19, 2008 by Richie_Si

Richie_Si
Cheers for the comments people. Fogs would look good with a darker tint but I don't know whether to tint the bit behind (like Sammys) or tint the front lens - I'll decide eventually! I've got to sort some issues with the car first: when driving with the window down you can hear something metal rattling around which I think is a loose connection between the manifold and the exhaust so hopefully it won't be too bad a job. Also the switches for everything on the bootlid only work when they want to! Plus the lug that you tie your parcelshelf to has popped out - I've glued it back in but it's got to support the mdf parcelshelf so I don't know whether its going to stay put, and the fact that the boot struts are too weak to support it so you have to hold it up with your hand! Oh, and I need new brakes! A lot to sort out I know!
Richie_Si
UPDATE: I have finally had my car lowered! Last weekend I had a full GMax -40mm spring and damper kit installed so the car is sitting a bit lower now. You can feel an improvement when going around corners now, plus it doesn't look like it's on stilts anymore! A few pics I took only 10 minutes ago: http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z151/Richie_Si/My%20Car/IMG_1134.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z151/Richie_Si/My%20Car/IMG_1135.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z151/Richie_Si/My%20Car/IMG_1138.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z151/Richie_Si/My%20Car/IMG_1141.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z151/Richie_Si/My%20Car/IMG_1144.jpg Still haven't sorted out my parcelshelf, it's just falling apart now! Plus I now need a new cat - making really interesting and worrying metallic noises!
