dark-ryder
thats a load of old Shite, the car park isnt private, the Road Traffic Act 1988 applies to anywhere the public have access to. this includes pub car parks, supermakerts ETC. i have had an on going fued with a pub over a broken fence post, in return they wanted nearly 800 for a post. i though that it was private land and that i didnt have to obide by the RTA but after taking with the police i do, so had to give my insurance details to them, although my insurance wont pay out. yeah so anyway its not a private car park and the police should be helping you out! JC
What people need to remember is the people that answer the phones and staff the front desk are civilians, not as well trained as police officers and some times advice isn't the best, so try to speak to a police officer Edited March 12, 2008 by Lordjc

Lee_2f2f
report him to the police, regardless, refusing to give out your insurance details at an incident is an offence afaik.... I would not hesitate, I would grass the tw*t up..... Noticed you have been the police never mind THe insurance wouldnt want to play because it happened in a car park private land, pure dispute... basically your insurance would stick it down as a disallowed 50/50 claim...... iwantacosworth
Isnt it illegal to drive without insurance? I know there are more important things, but still - couldnt they prosecute him? I mean we all get done for driving too fast, foglights, tints, number plates etc.
