Danzetec
Cheers guys Yeah I'm hoping it will come in not too far over a grand but I've still got managment and silicon hoses to get *gulp* - not cheap And I've got some parts to make before I swap the engine over... Modify sump with turbo return and also oil temp gauge sensorMake oil feed T with additional take-off for oil pressure gaugeModify rover turbo inlet manifold to bolt straight on. Using a standard injector sandwich plate to weld the rover inlet on to then port match this to the head (will get some pics of this) so a few bits to sort out then I'll go ahead and get them changed over
Trig
do you already have the rover inlet? if not, can I interest you in one?

Stu
Who's mapping it Dan?
Danzetec
Haha fair enough trig! I'm not too sure Stu, I'm going to have to go for megasquirt due to my budget and will hopefully learn how to alter the settings on the base map. But will need help to properly set it up, is this something you still do Stu? Was thinking of getting this MS PCBv2.2, will I need to get hold of an external EDIS unit? Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is a little beyond me atm but I'd love to learn more
Stu
I'd go for a v3 MS and run the coilpack directly without EDIS. I'd buy the ECU from extraefi.co.uk Yeah I can map it for you..
Danzetec
That'll be great Stu I'll contact you nearer the time to make arrangements I think I will get the ECU from extraefi.co.uk as you suggest, this is the setup I want yeah? Are the upgrades for nitrous/boost control any good/much bother?
Stu
I wouldn't bother for boost control, but the nitrous control is cool if you have a need for it.... those options are easily added at a later date to be honest. Tell Phil @ ExtraEFI I sent you... (Stu@Megatuned)..
Danzetec
Will do Stu I haven't got nitrous at the moment but thinking I may machine the inlet plate for direct-port injectors whilst I'm working it and then fit blanks, at least I have it covered then
