Gti-James
Coming along nicely, the back of the front arch (at the door) looks a bit odd. I think it needs to either taper in or fatten the door up too (i know cossies have a step but they look ok,this step is far too big) IT looks like a mk2 saxo VT, very smart but the doors are fattened too on the saxo well the idea is to grind out a resess in the step and get a S/Steel grill made up and fitted into the resess like on the cosworth. i was going to carry it on to the door at first but would of needed a big gap so the door could open so didnt.after the rear arches are finished it may look better as thay are wider than the front did you say you relocated the petrol cap behind the drivers seat?? inside the cabin??? crazy person yea i have as there would of been a massive resess for it coz of the 3 inch deep arches so in the car it goes ill have to do it proply so it aint dangerous ive seen some vans with it inside down behind the seat. anyway with a steel fuel tank pipe and it being in the cabin people cant nick my fuel. because it has happend to me before in my mk6 gti

Escort_Kid
One thing I just noticed, you gona add an extension bit onto the WRC bumper to match up with the big arches?
Gti-James
One thing I just noticed, you gona add an extension bit onto the WRC bumper to match up with the big arches? in the pics the bumper aint fixed proply. the bumper pulls out flush with the arch when fixed to the wing so it looks right.i has a lot of work to do on her yet as i am a pit of a perfectionist. i want it to have perfect panel gaps and im going for a factory built look so it dosent look like a cheep bodykit when done. HIGHTOWER
That looks gooking ace! I was a little dissapointed when I saw Diamond components mixed with mutant subs, but I see they're beeing changed for diamonds, too! That's gonna be awesome! That van is gonna look awesome, but PLLLLLEEEEEEAAAAASSSSSSEEEEEE don't ruin the bonnet with a scooby scoop! It looks great without! Looking forward to seeing more progress with this! Gti-James
cracking work there. why did you choose the mix of red oxide etc was that on recommendation or what?? well when i started on the van i asked about for what to use on rust because i repaired the underside and was told to use the anti-rust redoxide with zinc strait to metal and cleaned rust spots so i did and it works great,
