Tez162003 Posted December 17, 2008 Share Posted December 17, 2008 i see the SFS hose is on there now was it too your satisfaction? car is looking mint btw Nah they ripped me off, cost just over £30. how the feck did that work? lol hoses aint cheap thats for sure but thats alittle expensive? that inc postage too? what you do have to remember is they are good quality hoses built mainly for motorsport and high end sports cars, so it aint none of that cheap toxic chinesse stuff.  if you want anything else in the future let me know as i will go down there for you and get it so you get the discount, then i can send it to you,  a custom hose price is based on the size of the biggest diameter end, i can get what you got for around prob £12 - £15 (they know me there now lol ) was going to get a full engine set of hoses for the scooby when i had it (turbo, cooling, induction basically every single hose in the engine bay - about 30 hoses iirc), RRP for all of them was about £500 i could have got it for less than half, so shows the discounts you can get if you go to the factory Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

danposs86 Posted February 9, 2009 Author Share Posted February 9, 2009 Well, not really an update, just some pics. My car failed its MOT, it needed a some sill work and some welding to the rear chassis (was looking quite bad lol). Got this sorted nice and cheaply thanks to a friend of a friend. It also had a leak on one of the banjos on the front brakes, so saw this as an excuse to fit my braided hoses to the front. I now have RS2000 brakes with groved disks and braided hoses on the front. Once I have the spare cash I am getting a disk rear beam along with rear braided hoses and will be upgrading to 5.1 fluid. Anyway, thought I'd give it a good clean (I saw good, just got a wash, couldn't be arsed polishing and waxing it, will do next time).
