Muppje
Adrian Flux Best modified car policy I've seen so far, they let you add modifications at a fixed price as long as they don't increase BHP (exhaust and air filter don't count) I've quoted with Chris Knott aswell, and although I'm under 25 and not eligible for their discount scheme they were still quite competitive, the woman who answered put me right off though, so went back to Adrian Flux to see if they would come down to beat Chris Knott and they did

Muppje
Elephant were great customer service wise. However, they didn't cover your modifications, so if the car was damaged, they would replace it with a standard parts Edited September 20, 2008 by Muppje
escort4x4
ive had no trouble insuring modified parts, on my other escort i unsured it being lowered, magnex exhaust, alloys, smoked lights, the only thing they dont like is air filters and engine bits, great customer service but from what ive heard is that they dont like paying out when bad news happens

Trig
Im with Chris Knott. The guys there were really helpful, got me the cover I wanted, but they were £10 more expensive than the next best quote, who were an Adrian Flux company, and as Adrian flux dont seem to know their arse from their elbow, and they tried ripping me off when I changed address, I quite happily paid the extra tenner to give someone else a chance, I didnt want to be screwed over by Flux again. Mike C
One word of advice. Steer well clear of Adrian Flux. Even if they give you the policy for free, don't touch them...
