Colin Posted May 22, 2003 Share Posted May 22, 2003 As far as i know the ORIGINAL car that was built for the movie was actually sold shortly afterwards to an individual who was holding a car show in France after he relised it was gonig to be cheaper to buy it rather than hire it. It was in Dublin not long ago at a recent car show (this week), however i dunno where its gone since! Besides, there where 5 replicas made of the original car during the movie production wasn't there? Only 1 had the engine work (the original that was owned by a private individual), NOS and extras etc, and the rest where used for the stunts and the scenes with the jumps in the final chase etc and the final crash.
