bluliz
I prefer to run the same tyres all round on cars.
mar_k
its more important on the front to change the tyres in pairs due to the diffenrential, having a set of tyres on the front that have a tread difference of more than 5mm can result in a blown or damaged diff
JC
On a standard car its best to have the same make all round, at least have the same make on the same the same axel. For an escort have the same tyres the on the front as that's where it is more important for a front wheel drive car. Replace in pairs as a half worn one will not grip the same as a new one, and can have a huge impact if that occurs on the front! Different makes give different grip and different handling, so best to keep them the same. Different sizes is madness!
