i have had this for a while but dont no whether or not to fit it

 

could some one please tell if they have one fitted and what they think of them

Apparently they're a pile of w*nk and don't actually do anything.

If it's not for your actual ECU code then it's likely to cause all kinds of problem.. If it IS for your ECU, then whatever it does won't be noticeable anyway as there's extremely little to gain here.

I have one in my RS2K. Allows you to rev higher and made mine alot smooother.

 

Alot of the guys on RS2k forum have them and have been impressed with the results.

Mate had one on his RS2K. as said.. made it respond a bit quicker and would rev to over 7000rpm irrc it was about a year or 2 back now though :)

cheers guys dont think i am going to fit it as i dont no if it came off the same ecu as mine

i fitted one to a 1.8 115 scort a coupla years ago and it did take the rev limit up and improved the flatspot..i wouldnt pay good money for one but as i got it very very cheap i fitted it and thought it money well spent personally

 

EDIT: i used the correct one for my ECU,as ur unsure then its up to u to run the risk of fitting it or not....

thate came off a LAIR ! now u just need to check yours u lazy pig :thumb:

they not able to be reprogrammed??

cost about 45 quid to get them done i think..
