eetaylog Posted April 29, 2009 Share Posted April 29, 2009 I can appreciate why they want to use a SQL server for this.. seems a bit extreme though. I wonder if it can use a remote SQL server? I would hope so! yes it can, you can stream tv over LAN. this means you can put a tv card in your server, and access the tuners over a network from as many client media centre pc's as you like via an IP address. I installed it on my everday PC (full of films/music) Is it only Windows MCE that can be picked up via an XBOX or can this stuff be to?Is it done with wires or wireless?What's a decent TV card to get for my system?
